Capping Boards
Insulators-spacers for anodes and cathodes
Operational requirements for electrolytic tank houses in the production of non-ferrous metals impose an extraordinary challenge for insulators-spacers of anodes and cathodes (also called capping boards) and other auxiliary elements such as crane centering cones, floor gratings, etc. These elements simultaneously require resistance to chemical corrosion, cutting and shock mechanical loads, thermal shocks and electric currents of high amperage.
Ancor Tecmin designs and manufactures capping boards systems for high current density to the measure of any type of polymer cell and for any type or form of conductive barrier –either for simple, conventional or double electrical contact– molded into one piece of the cell size or into assembled sections.
Benefits
- Improved electrical contacts even at high current densities
- Consistent performance over time
- Systems of capping boards manufactured to measure
- State-of-the-art capping boards systems according to maintenance budgets
